Before you start
Who: Front-of-house staff.
Device: Nomni POS on iPad. A barcode scanner or camera if you scan vouchers.
Permissions and settings: Vouchers and gift cards must be set up in Nomni Console.
Pay with a voucher
Build the order on Point of Sale and tap Pay.
Tap VOUCHER.
Enter the voucher code or amount, or scan the voucher QR code.
Confirm. If the voucher doesn't cover the whole bill, take the rest with another payment type.
You should see the voucher amount taken off the balance due.
Scan vouchers instead of typing
Go to Settings > System.
Turn on A22. Scan For Voucher Mode.
At payment, Nomni POS asks you to SCAN VOUCHER QR INPUT CODE. Scan the voucher.
If something goes wrong
Voucher not accepted: check it hasn't expired or been used, in Nomni Console.
Scanner does nothing: check the scanner in Settings > External Devices > Scanner.
Never take a voucher by typing in an amount you can't check. Ask a manager.
