How to View and Export Guest Counts (Pax) in Nomni POS

Nomni provides several reporting options to help you view and export guest counts (Pax) for specific periods. This guide explains the key reports available and how to use them effectively.

Key Reports for Guest Counts and Checks

1. Sales Activity Report

The Sales Activity report is a report that includes guest count data in the Pax column. You can view this report for various time periods, such as daily, weekly, monthly, or even hourly, directly within the Nomni backend. However, if you need to export daily Pax totals, you should use the Invoice report instead.

2. Invoices by Table Report

The Invoices by Table report provides a detailed breakdown of:

  • Total number of checks (sales)

  • Number of guests (Pax)

  • Sales amounts per table

This report is particularly useful for analyzing data over a chosen date range. You can find it under the Sales section in the Reports menu.

3. Invoice Report

For exporting daily guest counts (Pax), the invoicereport is the recommended option. This report consolidates daily totals, making it easier to analyze trends and patterns.

Exporting Data: Tips and Common Issues

  • Exporting Daily Pax Totals: Use the Invoice report for a straightforward export of daily guest counts.

  • Missing Pax in Exports: If you export the Sales Activity report "by item," the Pax column will not be included. To see daily Pax and checks, use the Daily Sales report or the Invoices by Table report instead.

Required Setting to Get a Consistent Guest Count Report

To get an accurate report for guest count, you need to enable A4. ENFORCE GUEST COUNT (This will require users to enter the guest count before starting an order for a table.)

Summary

Nomni offers multiple reports to help you track guest counts and checks effectively. The Sales Activity report is ideal for in-app viewing, while the Invoice report and Invoices by Table reports are better suited for exporting detailed data. By selecting the right report for your needs, you can ensure accurate and actionable insights. For further assistance, refer to the Nomni Help Center or contact support.
