Why Gross Sales is different on the Dashboard and the Cash Register Summary

Your Start Trading Hour sets when the sales day starts, so reports can show different totals

Gross Sales on the Dashboard and on the Cash Register Summary can be different for the same day. The most common reason is your Start Trading Hour. Nomni reports don't start the day at midnight. They start it at your Start Trading Hour (for example 8:00 am), so sales before that time count in the previous trading day. The Cash Register Summary also only includes transactions in that register session.

Check the difference

  1. Note the Gross Sales on the Dashboard and on the Cash Register Summary for the same day.

  2. In Nomni Console, open Sales > Invoices for that day and count the transactions.

  3. Compare it with the number of transactions on the Cash Register Summary.

  4. Look for transactions made before your Start Trading Hour, or after the register was closed.

What you should see: the missing transactions explain the difference in Gross Sales.

Change your Start Trading Hour

  1. Message Nomni Support with your venue name and the time you want your trading day to start.

  2. We change it for you and confirm.

Only Nomni can change the Start Trading Hour.
