If customers see your online store as closed, or can't place orders, even though you are within your opening hours, check the Store Status switch. Opening hours only work when the store status is set to Open.
Before you start
You need a Nomni Console login with access to Online Ordering.
How to check your store status
Log in to Nomni Console.
Go to Online Ordering > Configuration.
Under Store Status, find the Closed / Open switch.
If it's on Closed, change it to Open.
Save your changes.
Open your online store link in a private browser window to check.
What you should see: your store shows as open and you can add items to the cart during your opening hours.
Closing for a short time
To stop orders for a while, set the switch to Closed and type a message in Closing Store Message (for example "Back at 5pm"). Customers see this message. Remember to switch it back to Open. To close for a whole day, use Blockout Dates instead (see "Close your online store for one day").
If something goes wrong
Status is Open but still closed
Check your opening hours for today in Nomni Console.
Check there is no Blockout Date for today.
Check the menu is published and has times that cover now.
Orders come in but aren't accepted
Check the online orders screen on your POS (the cart icon at the top) and accept the order, or turn on A10 Auto Confirm Online Orders in Settings > System.
