How to set a custom due date on a Nomni Procure invoice

Set your own payment due date when a supplier invoice doesn't match standard payment terms.

Quick answer: In Nomni Procure on the web, open the invoice on the digitisation screen, set Payment terms to Custom, then pick the date in the Due date field and save. Enter the Invoice date first, because the due date can't be earlier than it.

These steps are for Nomni Procure buyers and admins on the web who can digitise or edit invoices.

How do I set a custom due date?

  1. Open Invoices and open the invoice you're digitising or editing.

  2. Check the Invoice date is filled in. The due date stays greyed out until it is.

  3. In Payment terms, open the list (it shows Select payment terms until you choose) and choose Custom.

  4. A Due date field appears under Payment terms. Click it (it shows Select date) and pick the date the supplier wants paying. You can't pick a date before the invoice date.

  5. Click Save.

What you should see: Payment terms shows Custom and the Due date shows the date you picked. If you choose standard payment terms instead, Nomni Procure works out the due date for you and shows it next to Payment terms as Due: and the date once the invoice is processed.

What if it doesn't work?

  • There's no Due date field: Payment terms isn't set to Custom. Choose Custom and the field appears.

  • The Due date field is greyed out: enter the Invoice date first.

  • I can't pick the date I want: the due date can't be earlier than the invoice date. Check the invoice date is right.

  • The invoice won't save: with Custom terms, Due date is required (it's marked with *). Pick a date and save again.
