Quick answer: Edit receipt text in Nomni Console under Print Settings > Printing Templates. Open the Invoice Receipt (or kitchen) template, change the header, footer or promo lines, Save, then on the POS go to Settings > Sync and sync receipt templates.
The text on receipts and bills comes from your printing templates in Nomni Console. You can change it yourself.
Before you start
Nomni Console in a web browser, logged in as an owner or admin.
Edit the receipt template
In Nomni Console, go to Print Settings > Printing Templates.
Click the pencil next to Invoice Receipt (or the bill template you want to change).
Edit the text. For example, change the thank-you message at the bottom, or add a promo line.
Use placeholders for details that change, such as [company_address], [company_phonenumber] and [company_registration]. Company details come from Configuration > Company Profile.
Click Save.
On the Master iPad, sync printing templates (or run Master Sync) so the change prints.
Common changes
Text size: wrap text in the font tags used in the template, for example the large or small font tags. See How to customise printing behaviour for the placeholder list.
Required details: Australian receipts need your ABN. See How to add your company details to the receipt.
Logo: upload it in Company Profile > Logo, then Master Sync.
Tax, surcharge, service charge and discount lines come from the order. Change the surcharge or tax setup to change those lines.
If something goes wrong
Receipt hasn't changed: check you edited the template for the right printer location, then sync again.
Layout looks broken: undo your last change. A missing closing tag usually causes it.
