Why an option price is added to the item price

How product variant (option) prices add to the item price, and how to keep the total the same

Quick answer: An option's price is added to the item price. If the item is $20 and the "Large" option is $5, the customer pays $25. To keep the item's total the same, set the option price to $0.

Steps

  1. In Nomni Console, open the product and its variant/option list.

  2. Set each option's price to the amount you want added. Use $0 for no change.

  3. Save, then check the total on the POS or online menu.
