How to Prevent Auto-Lock Issues on Your iPad for Abacus POS
If your iPad is set to lock automatically, you may encounter the following issues while using Abacus POS:
Screen turns black
POS disconnects
iPad requests TouchID or Apple PIN
How to Turn Off Auto-Lock on Your iPad:
Go to iPad Settings.
2. Navigate to Display & Brightness
3. Tap Auto-Lock.
4. Set Auto-Lock to Never.
This will prevent your iPad from automatically locking, ensuring smooth operation of the POS. However, it’s still recommended to turn off the screen when not in use outside of business hours.
