By default, the Abacus POS system logs out the current user after 60 seconds of inactivity. To prevent this, you can either disable or adjust the auto-logout feature.
Steps to Disable or Adjust Cashier Auto-Logout:
Go to Settings > System in the Abacus backend.
Scroll down to User Management > B4. Cashier Auto Logout Time.
Select the grey field to adjust the settings.
Increase the number of seconds before the system logs out, or delete the value (backspace) to leave the field blank, which will turn off auto-logout completely.
This ensures that your POS system stays logged in based on your preferences, improving workflow efficiency.
