Quick Summary
In ABACUS POS, you can customize the order of Product Variant Groups and their Variant Values by simply dragging and dropping them in the backend. After making these adjustments, remember to sync the changes to reflect them on the POS.
1.Navigate to Products > Product Variants:
Go to Products > Product Variants in the backend.
2.Rearrange Product Variant Groups:
Drag and drop the product variant groups into the order you want them to appear. For example, you might want:
“Coffee Modifications” first, followed by “Coffee Syrups”, or vice versa.
3.Rearrange Product Variant Values:
Expand a Product Variant Group to see its individual variant values (e.g., Soy Milk, Takeaway).
Drag and drop the values to rearrange them. The order you set here will reflect on the POS.
4.Sync Your Changes:
After making your changes, sync the products and product variants on the POS to ensure the updated order is applied.
Examples
Product Variant Groups
For example, you might have the “Coffee modifications” first, then “Coffee syrups”.
Alternatively, you might have the “Coffee syrups” first, then “Coffee modifications”.
Product Variant Values
For example, if you have a Coffee Modifications Product Variant Group with the Soy Milk Variant Value first, then it will display first.
If you swap Soy Milk and Takeaway on the table, they will be swapped on the POS as well
