This guide shows you how to activate the Uber Eats integration for a store and publish its delivery menu from the Nomni backend.
Note: The Uber Eats staging request is submitted by the Nomni Onboarding team. Staging must be complete before you start this guide.
Before you start
The Nomni Onboarding team has confirmed staging is complete for the store.
A delivery menu is prepared in the Nomni backend. Remove any Groups nested inside Tabs — they are not supported for delivery partners and the menu import will fail.
Company Profile > Contact and Open Hours are accurate. Delivery platforms use these details.
Product images are at least 500 x 500 pixels. Smaller images will not appear on the Uber Eats store page.
Uber Eats Account
Step 1: Activate the Uber Eats integration
Log in to the Nomni backend and go to the Delivery module.
In the left panel, select UberEats Integration.
Enter the Uber Eats Store UUID (from your UberEats Account) in the row for the store, then click Activate.
Step 2: Publish the Uber Eats menu
In the left panel, select Delivery Menus, then click the edit (pencil) icon on the prepared menu.
Under Platform selection, select UberEats.
Under Order Type selection, select Take Away or Delivery.
Select the Price Level (if you have any)
Click Publish.
Check the sync status shows Synced. This confirms the menu was published to Uber Eats.
Things to know after going live
Managing your Uber Eats store: Make all changes from the Nomni backend, including operational hours, opening and closing the store, and product and menu changes. Changes made directly in Uber Eats may be overwritten or may break the integration.
Sold-out items: Marking an item as sold out in Nomni POS also marks it sold out on Uber Eats.
After publishing a new menu: Reset the sold-out status on each item so availability updates correctly on Uber Eats.
Prep times: Prep times set in Nomni POS do not sync to Uber Eats. They only affect docket printing in the POS.
Banner images: Store banners can't be uploaded from Nomni POS. Edit them in the Uber Eats Merchant Portal.
Menu Maker: Once the integration is active, Uber's Menu Maker is disabled. Make all menu changes in the Nomni backend and publish again.
Multiple menus: The integration supports multiple menus and menu time settings.
For a full list of supported features, see Delivery Partner Compatibility with Nomni Delivery Integration.
