Online payments are not paid into your bank on the day of the sale. Use this guide to see when a payout is coming and which orders are in it.
Before you start
Who: Owners and managers. Device: Nomni Console in a web browser. This guide covers online orders paid through Stripe. EFTPOS terminal payments are paid by your terminal provider, so check with them for their timing.
How payouts work
Your customers' online payments are grouped into a payout, minus fees.
Payouts run on a rolling schedule a few business days after the sale. Weekends and public holidays add time.
One payout can cover more than one day of orders. For example, a payout after a weekend can include Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The date on a payout is the date it was paid, not the date of the sales inside it.
Check a payout
Log in to Nomni Console and open Online Ordering.
Click the Stripe Settlement tab.
Choose the dates and click Search.
Check the payout's state. paid means it has been sent to your bank. Any other state, or a blank one, means it hasn't been sent yet.
Click Export Detail to download the list of orders in that payout.
What you should see: the order you are looking for in one of the payouts, with a payout reference that matches your bank deposit.
If something goes wrong
A payout for a day seems to be missing: check the next few payouts. It has usually been combined with another day.
A payout shows as paid but isn't in your bank: your bank can take time to show it. Check again the next business day.
Your bank details changed: contact us before you close the old account, so payouts are not sent to it.
Payout still not there?
Email support@nomni.ai or message us from the chat in Nomni Console. Send us:
Your venue name
The date range you are checking
A screenshot of the Nomni report you are using (for example the Tender Report or Stripe Settlement)
The line from your bank or settlement statement that doesn't match, with the amount and date
This lets us check it in one go, without asking you again.
