Quick answer: In Studio, click Customise navigation bar, open an item, then under Icon pick an icon or click + (Upload custom icon) to use your own. Under When tapped, choose Open URL, Go to page, Call phone or Send email. Then click Publish.
These steps are for merchants using Nomni App and Studio. Some screens and the web address (app.nomnie.com) still show the old name "Nomnie" (Nomni App and Studio).
Open the navigation bar settings
Sign in to Nomni App and Studio at app.nomnie.com.
Click Studio in the left menu.
Find the Navigation bar section and click Customise navigation bar. If your page has none yet, click Add navigation bar.
What you should see: The Navigation bar settings on the right, with Preset, your items and Colors.
Change an item’s icon
Click the item you want to change.
Under Icon, open the icon list and pick an icon.
To use your own icon, click the + tile (Upload custom icon) and choose an image file.
To go back to a standard icon, click the x on your custom icon (Remove custom icon).
What you should see: The new icon in the phone preview.
Choose what happens when it’s tapped
Under When tapped, choose an action:
Open URL: enter the Link (for example https://example.com).
Go to page: pick the Page. The list includes your other pages and your loyalty pages.
Call phone: enter the Phone number.
Send email: enter the Email address.
Click Publish.
What you should see: Tapping the item in the preview does what you chose.
Good to know
Items marked Built in (such as Wallet) have a fixed action.
Under the navigation bar settings you can also turn on Hide while scrolling down, Shrink the primary item on other pages and Vibrate on tap.
Your changes stay private until you click Publish.
