Quick answer: Go to Settings > Payment Methods. Open a payment method and use Enable to turn it on, and Show Payment to show or hide it on the pay screen. Use Make as Primary method or Make as Secondary method to put it on a quick-pay button.

This article is for venue owners and managers using Nomni POS on an Android POS terminal. You need permission to change settings.

Turn a payment method on or off

  1. On the POS, open the side menu and tap Settings.

  2. Tap Payment Methods.

  3. Tap the payment method, for example Cash, Credit Card or Voucher.

  4. Turn the Enable toggle (for example Enable Cash) on or off.

What you should see: The payment method appears (or disappears) on the pay screen.

Hide a payment method without turning it off

Use this when you want to keep a method set up but not offer it on the pay screen.

  1. Go to Settings > Payment Methods and tap the method.

  2. Turn Show Payment off.

What you should see: The method no longer shows on the pay screen. Turn Show Payment back on to show it again.

Set the primary and secondary quick-pay buttons

  1. Go to Settings > Payment Methods and tap the method.

  2. Tap Make as Primary method or Make as Secondary method.

Some payment methods can only be set as the secondary button.

What you should see: The method shows on the quick-pay buttons on the order screen.

Cash rounding (Indonesia only)

Cash rounding options only show when your venue is set up in Indonesia and you open Cash. Venues in Australia do not see this option.

  1. Go to Settings > Payment Methods > Cash.

  2. Choose the rounding amount: Off, Rp100 or Rp500.

  3. Choose how to round: Always Up, Always Down or Nearest.

Card payment providers

Tap To Pay is its own payment method. Go to Settings > Payment Methods > Tap To Pay and turn it on to see its setup options. See Tap To Pay on Nomni POS for Android. To change your card provider, contact Nomni Support. For card surcharges, see "Card surcharges from 1 October 2026: what to change in Nomni".

Change not showing on another device?

Tip: Enable and Show Payment changes save to your Nomni account, so the POS must be online. Quick-pay buttons are set on each POS separately.
