Spin the Wheel is an interactive game of chance, where your mobile app customers have the opportunity to earn prizes and rewards.
Customers spin the wheel and land on a random segment of the wheel, known as a slice. Each slice will represent a different prize or reward and is fully customisable.
Rewards include:
Percentage discount on an order, item or category.
Dollar value discount on an order, item or category.
Free item.
Note: Spin the Wheel resets at 12am every day.
This article will show you how to set up Spin the Wheel, including creating and editing the wheel slices.

General configuration
Log in to your backend account and then go to the following link to access the Spin the Wheel configuration page: https://app.abacus.co/ecommerce/SpinWheelConfiguration.
Note: Geofence Radius is currently under beta testing. Please don't use this feature.
To configure Spin the Wheel:
Check you are on the Information tab.
2. Enter a Name for the game.
3. Enter an Expiry Date. The game will no longer be available to your customers after this date.
4. (Optional) Tick the Can Play Without Redeeming checkbox. When this is ticked, users can accumulate their prizes over time and don't have to use them immediately.
5. Enter Terms And Conditions for the game.
6. Click Save.
Add a slice
To create a new slice of the wheel:
Go to the Slices tab.
2. Click Add New Slice.
2. Enter a Name for the slice.
3. Select a Color for the slice and click Apply.
4. Enter a Weight. This is the percentage of the wheel that the slice will take up. The higher the weight, the greater the chance of landing on it.
5. (Optional) Enter a minimum spend requirement for the customer to apply their reward to the order.
6. Select an Outcome Type.
There are four outcome types:
A. Voucher Percentage
B. Voucher Flat Value
C. Free Item
D. Lose
Option A: Voucher Percentage
Select if you want the discount to apply to the Entire Order, a Product Code or Category Codes.
If you select Entire Order, enter the voucher amount.
If you select Product Code, enter the Product and the Voucher Amount. The Product Code will automatically fill in.
If you select Category Codes, enter the category/s and enter the voucher amount.
Option B: Voucher Flat Value
Select if you want the discount to the Entire Order, a Product Code or Category Codes.
If you select Entire Order, enter the voucher amount.
If you select Product Code, enter the Product and the Voucher Amount. The Product Code will automatically fill in.
If you select Category Codes, enter the category/s and enter the voucher amount.
Option C: Free Item
Select the Product from the drop down list. The Product Code will automatically fill in.
Option D: Lose
7. Tick the Active checkbox if you want the slice to display.
8. Click Save changes.
9. Repeat steps 2-8 for each slice.
10. Click Save to sync the changes to the mobile app.
Edit an existing slice
To edit an existing slice:
On the slice you want to edit, click the pencil icon under the Operations column.
2. Make the required changes to the slice.
3. Click Save changes.
4. Click Save to sync the changes to the mobile app.
Disable Spin the Wheel
To disable Spin the Wheel:
On the Information tab, set the expiry date for the game to the current date.
2. Go to the slices tab and click the pencil icon on a slice.
3. Click the pencil icon on a slice and untick the Active checkbox.
4. Click Save changes.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all slices.
6. When the Active checkbox has been unticked for all slices, click Save.
