4. Start EpsonNet Config.

5. Accept the license agreement, then choose the destination location.

6. Follow the prompts until the wizard has been completed.

7. Connect the printer to:

  • A power source

  • The router (with the ethernet cable)

8. Launch EpsonNet Config. You will need to register it as an exception to any firewalls.

9. EpsonNet will automatically display all the printers it can find on the network.

10. Double click the printer model to which you wish to connect.

11. You will be redirected to the Device Properties. Under TCP/IP on the left navigation bar, click Basic.

12. Change the "Default Gateway" to 0.0.0.0.

13. Click Transmit.

14. Check to see whether the Default Gateway has indeed changed for the printer.

Do this by printing out the configuration information:

  • Epson TM82 - hold the small reset button next to the power cable to print out configuration information

  • Epson TM32 - turn the printer off, and hold both buttons. It will boot up. Keep holding the buttons and it will print out the configuration information

The information that prints out should include the line: "Default Gateway 0.0.0.0" or equivalent.

Then, you can connect the Nomni POS application to the printer.
