Quick answer: On the order device, drag down from the top of the screen, as you would on a phone. Tap and hold the Wi-Fi icon to open Wi-Fi settings. Then follow the steps below.

Your Nomni Ordering order device (printer terminal) must be on Wi-Fi to receive online orders. If it isn't, customers see Online ordering at this location is currently offline.

Check the Wi-Fi connection

  1. On the order device, drag down from the top of the screen, as you would on a phone.

  2. Tap and hold the Wi-Fi icon to open Wi-Fi settings.

  3. Check the device is connected to your store's Wi-Fi network.

  4. If the network shows an authentication or saved message but doesn't connect, the Wi-Fi password is wrong. Tap the network, choose to forget it, then connect again with the right password.

  5. Go back to the order app.

What you should see: the device shows as connected, and the order app shows your latest orders.

If something goes wrong

  • Still offline: restart the device and your router, then check again.

  • Your Wi-Fi needs a sign-in page (guest Wi-Fi): use a network without a sign-in page. The device can't complete those pages.
