Use this guide if your store shows as closed or paused on Uber Eats while you are open, or Uber Eats orders stop coming in.
Before you start
Who: a manager.
Device: your Master POS, Nomni Console and the Uber Eats Manager app or website.
1. Check your POS and hours
Check the Master POS is on, logged in, connected to the internet and Nomni POS is open.
In Nomni Console, check Company Profile > Open Hours are right. Delivery apps use these hours.
Go to Delivery > Delivery Menus, click Edit Menu Time Settings and check the menu's times cover now.
Save, publish the delivery menu, then run a Master Sync on the Master POS.
What you should see: the delivery menu no longer shows as unsynced.
2. Check Uber Eats
Open the Uber Eats Manager app or website.
Check whether the store is paused. If it is, resume it.
Check Uber Eats hasn't paused the store for missed or rejected orders. Uber shows the reason in its app.
What you should see: the store open in the Uber Eats app within a few minutes.
3. Stop it happening again
Keep Nomni POS open in the foreground on the Master and don't let it sleep.
Clear sold-out marks when items are back. A sold-out item can make Uber Eats reject orders, and too many rejections pause the store.
Make menu and price changes in Nomni, then sync. See How to sync your delivery menu.
If something goes wrong
Orders are rejected: see Uber Eats or DoorDash orders rejected or not coming through.
Uber Eats says the store is closed by Uber: contact Uber Eats support in the Uber Eats Manager app.
Still closed after these steps: contact us with the store name, the time and a screenshot of the Uber Eats status.
