Quick answer: Log in to Nomni Console and open the POS menu you use. Tap the pencil icon to edit it. Make sure deleted items are also removed from the menu itself, and new items are added to the right category. Navigate to Menu > POS Menu and use the "Add item" option to search for and add you
If you changed, added or deleted items in Nomni Console and the POS still shows the old menu, the change usually hasn't been published to the POS menu or synced to the iPad yet. You can fix this yourself in a few minutes. This two-step process allows you to prepare changes in advance without affecting the live system until syncing is completed.
1. Check the POS menu in Nomni Console
Log in to Nomni Console and open the POS menu you use.
Tap the pencil icon to edit it. Make sure deleted items are also removed from the menu itself, and new items are added to the right category.
Navigate to
Menu > POS Menuand use the "Add item" option to search for and add your new product(s) within the relevant category.
Publish the POS menu. Saving a product is not enough on its own; the menu must be republished.
2. Sync the POS
On the Master iPad, go to Settings > Sync and tap each of these in order: Syncing typically takes only a few seconds. To avoid confusion, such as price changes during customer orders, it is recommended to perform syncing during quieter periods, before opening, or after closing.
SYNC CHANGED PRODUCTS AND EXTRAS FROM BACKEND
SYNC ALL PRODUCTS AND EXTRAS FROM BACKEND
SYNC ALL PRODUCT IMAGES (only if images are wrong)
SYNC CHANGED MENU FROM BACKEND
SYNC All MENU FROM BACKEND
MASTER SYNC
3. Refresh the app
Force close Nomni POS (swipe it away) and open it again.
If the change still isn't there, restart the iPad and check again.
Run Master Sync on every Slave iPad too, so all devices show the same menu.
Multi-venue (HQ) accounts
Managing Multiple Menus
Creating a Copy: Before making significant changes, consider copying the existing menu as a working version. This allows you to prepare updates safely.
Default and Published Menus: While multiple menus can be published, only one menu is set as the Default. The POS uses the Default menu by default, but staff can switch menus on the POS if needed. When ready, set the copied menu as Default or switch to it on the POS.
If your menu is managed by your head office, the HQ menu has to be published to your store first. Ask your HQ admin to republish, then repeat step 2.
Online menu not updating?
The online store uses a separate menu. See Online ordering prices not updating: change the price and publish. If you update prices, ensure you also publish the changes in the Delivery Menus section to apply them to Nomni Ordering.
Still not fixed?
Contact Nomni Support only if the steps above did not work. Tell us your venue name, which device (Master or Slave), your Nomni POS version, what you tried, and a photo or screenshot of the screen. That lets us go straight to a fix.
