The Order Types Configuration page lets you set different options for each online order type: Delivery, Pick Up and Eat In.

Before you start

  • Nomni Console in a web browser, logged in as an owner or admin.

  • Online ordering switched on for your store.

Steps

  1. In Nomni Console, open Online Ordering and click Order Types Configuration.

  2. Choose the order type you want to change.

  3. Customer Message: text customers see when they choose this order type.

  4. Customer Question and Location Label: what you ask the customer (for example "Table number" or "Room number") and the label shown next to it.

  5. Enable Range Validation: turn on to only accept answers inside a range, then set MIN and MAX. Use + to add another range. If it's off, customers can type anything up to 128 characters.

  6. Order Type Fee: an extra fee for this order type. Free (fee waived) Over waives it when the order is over that amount.

  7. Max per add-to-cart: the most of one item a customer can add at once.

  8. Save, then place a test order.

If something goes wrong

  • The change doesn't show online: refresh the online store, and check you edited the right order type.

  • Customers can't enter their table or room: check the range covers every number you use.
