Let customers order now and pay later (Pay Later)

Turn on Pay Later for eat-in online and QR orders and change the button text.

With Pay Later, dine-in customers can send their order from the online or QR menu and pay at the counter or at the end of the meal.

Before you start

  • Nomni Console in a web browser, logged in as an owner or admin.

Steps

  1. Open your online store's store settings in Nomni Console.

  2. Tick Eat In Pay Later.

  3. (Optional) Tick Pay Later Only if customers should not be able to pay online. It can only be ticked when Pay Later is on.

  4. (Optional) Tick Change 'Pay later' text and enter your own Pay Later Button Text (up to 20 characters).

  5. Save, then place a test order from a table QR code.

If something goes wrong

  • Pay Later orders don't appear on the POS: check the POS is online and run Master Sync.

  • The table bill isn't updating: open the table on the POS and refresh.
