The text on receipts and bills comes from your printing templates in Nomni Console. You can change it yourself.

Before you start

  • Nomni Console in a web browser, logged in as an owner or admin.

Edit the receipt template

  1. In Nomni Console, go to Print Settings > Printing Templates.

  2. Click the pencil next to Invoice Receipt (or the bill template you want to change).

  3. Edit the text. For example, change the thank-you message at the bottom, or add a promo line.

  4. Use placeholders for details that change, such as [company_address], [company_phonenumber] and [company_registration]. Company details come from Configuration > Company Profile.

  5. Click Save.

  6. On the Master iPad, sync printing templates (or run Master Sync) so the change prints.

Common changes

  • Logo: upload it in Company Profile > Logo, then Master Sync.

  • Text size: wrap text in the font tags used in the template, for example the large or small font tags. See How to customise printing behaviour for the placeholder list.

  • Tax, surcharge, service charge and discount lines come from the order. Change the surcharge or tax setup to change those lines.

  • Required details: Australian receipts need your ABN. See How to add your company details to the receipt.

If something goes wrong

  • Receipt hasn't changed: check you edited the template for the right printer location, then sync again.

  • Layout looks broken: undo your last change. A missing closing tag usually causes it.
