What this is for
A Link Store is a second online store, often used for catering, with its own settings, hours, look, payments and blockout dates. Most settings can be copied from your main online store.
Before you start
A Link Store has been created for you (see Link Stores).
You're signed in to the Nomni Console at Nomni Console (app.abacus.co) with a login that can see this page. If it's missing from your menu, ask your account owner to check your role.
See and add Link Stores
Open Link Stores from the Console menu. The table shows Root Store, Root Store ID, Link Store, Link Store ID and Encrypted ID.
To link a store, click Add Linked Store, choose the Root Store and the Link Store, then click Save.
Set up the Link Store
Go to POS > Online Store > Link Store Configuration. The settings match Online Store Configuration. Click Save.
Go to Online Store > Catering Order Setting to set Pre-order, Same-day pre-order and Future Day Cut Off Times.
Go to Online Ordering > Catering Opening Hours, set start and end times for each day, and click Save.
Go to Online Ordering > Catering Theme Customisation to set colours and images, then Save.
Go to Online Ordering > Catering Payment Setup to connect Stripe (see Stripe payments for online ordering). It has the same Account Detail fields as Payment Setup: Email, Account Id, Onboarding Completed and Location Id, with Setup, Update Terminal Location, Dashboard and Remove Account Id.
Go to Online Ordering > Link Store Blockout Dates and click Add Blockout Date for days you can't take catering orders.
Tips
On your main store pages, the Link Store button copies settings, theme or Stripe setup to the Link Store using its Encrypted ID.
Common problems
"You cannot save Blockout Dates because this store is not configured as a catering store."
Switch to the Link Store first.
"Validation failed: Start time must be earlier than end time."
Fix the times for that day.
