Quick answer: On Nomni POS for Android, tap Products in the side menu. Use the tabs Modifier, Product Tags, Promotions & Price Trigger Settings and Coupon Settings to manage extras, tags, automatic price rules and coupons.

These steps are for Nomni POS admins and managers using Nomni POS on an Android POS terminal. You need permission to edit products.

Modifiers (extras)

  1. Go to Products > Modifier.

  2. Tap Add Group. Enter the Modifier Name (Max 30 Char.), choose how many options customers can pick under Select Choice, and add a Description (Max 200 Char.) if you want one.

  3. Add the options with Add Variant: enter the Variant Name, Variant Print Name and Price, then tap Save Changes.

  4. To add the group to a product, open the product, go to Modifier Groups, tap Link Modifiers, select the groups and apply.

What you should see: The modifier options when you add the product to an order.

Product tags

  1. Go to Products > Product Tags.

  2. Add a tag with a Tag Name and Description.

  3. Select the products and tap Apply to Tag.

What you should see: The tag on those products. You can use tags in price triggers.

Promotions and price triggers

  1. Go to Products > Promotions & Price Trigger Settings and tap Add Price Trigger.

  2. Enter a Price Trigger Name.

  3. Under Conditions, choose what must be in the order (any item, Products, From Categories or From Tags), and optionally an Order Type or Minimum spend.

  4. Under Outcome, choose a Discount Value, Discount Percent, Increase Value, Increase Percent or Fixed Value.

  5. Set the Period: Days of the week, Start Time and End Time. Turn on Enable Discount and save.

What you should see: The price change applied automatically when an order meets the conditions.

Coupons

  1. Go to Products > Coupon Settings and tap Add Coupon.

  2. Choose Percentage Discount or Dollar Discount, then enter the Coupon Name, Coupon Code and Discount Value.

  3. Choose the Type: General (shows as a button on the POS) or Multiple Code Only (staff enter or scan the code).

  4. To limit it, pick Product(s): or Category(s):, and a Required Quantity and Discount Quantity.

  5. Turn on Enable Coupon and tap Save Changes.

What you should see: The coupon available on the order screen. To use one, see "Discounts, price changes and coupons on Nomni POS for Android".

Change not showing on another POS?

Product changes are saved to the master POS. If another POS does not show the change, run Menu Sync from the side menu on that device. If you see "Your device is disconnected from Master Pos", check the device is online and the master POS is on, then try again.
