In this article:

The Order Status Screen is an extra screen connected to your KDS that will display when each order is Preparing... and Ready!.

As you complete each order on the KDS, the Order Status Screen will be updated.

When an order is received on the KDS, it will appear as Preparing...

When an order is ticked off on the KDS, the order number will appear under Ready!

When the order has been collected, swipe the number under Ready! and it will disappear.

Like the Kitchen Display Screen, the Order Status Screen can be used in both portrait mode and landscape mode.

Tap the Rotate Screen button to switch the Order Status Screen into portrait mode.

Each time you press this button, the screen will rotate 90 degrees clockwise.

Under Colour Setting, select the colours for the background and text of both sides of the Order Status Screen.

Add space (or "padding") around your Order Status Screen by modifying the insets (in pixels).

Display the customer name and/or order number on the Order Status Screen. The customer name/order number will display in the Preparing… column when the order is being prepared, and will move to the Ready! column when the order is ready.

2. Enable Display Order Number and/or Display Customer Name on the KDS.

3. The customer order number and/or customer name will display on the Order Status Screen.
