Use this guide if Nomni POS keeps logging out, freezes, crashes, or the slave iPads lose the Master. Unstable Wi-Fi is the most common cause.

Turn off Private Wi-Fi Address and Limit IP Address Tracking

  1. On the iPad, open Settings > Wi-Fi.

  2. Tap the ⓘ next to your venue Wi-Fi.

  3. Turn off Private Wi-Fi Address.

  4. Turn off Limit IP Address Tracking.

  5. Repeat on every iPad.

Restart the network

  1. When there are no customers, restart your Wi-Fi router.

  2. Restart each iPad.

  3. Reconnect every iPad to the same venue Wi-Fi.

  4. Open Nomni POS and test an order.

What you should see: the POS stays logged in, and slave iPads stay connected to the Master.

Set the DNS (only if Nomni Support asks)

  1. In Settings > Wi-Fi > ⓘ, tap Configure DNS.

  2. Choose Manual and add the DNS servers Nomni Support gives you.

  3. Tap Save.

If something goes wrong

If it keeps happening, update Nomni POS and send us your Device Register Code (Nomni POS Settings > Device Options).
