Use this guide if Nomni POS shows a banner or message about an expired licence, overdue payment, a suspended account, or Your Subscription Has Ended.
What each message means
These messages come from your Nomni account status. The POS checks it with our server when it starts and when it syncs.
Your POS licence has expired due to overdue payment. Some functionalities will be disabled: an invoice is overdue. You can keep trading for now. Printing will stop if it isn't paid.
The printing service is disabled due to overdue payment. Your account will be suspended: printing has stopped. The banner counts down to suspension.
Payment is overdue for more than 21 days. Your account is now suspended. or ...more than 28 days, and Subscription Expired: the account is suspended and the POS asks you to log out.
Your Subscription Has Ended (Android POS): the subscription end date has passed, so the POS logs out.
If you haven't paid yet
Follow Overdue invoice or suspended account: what to do. After we confirm payment, clear the message using the steps below.
If you've already paid, or you think it's wrong
Make sure the POS is connected to the internet, not just the local Wi-Fi. Open a website on the device to check.
Close Nomni POS completely (swipe it away), then open it again. On Android POS, also let it finish syncing.
If the message is still there, email our accounts team at ar@nomni.ai, or message us from the chat, with your venue name, the date you paid and your remittance or receipt. Don't send card details.
What you should see: the banner is gone after the app restarts and syncs.
Good to know
The POS was offline for a long time: if the POS can't reach our server for many days, it can show the banner even when you've paid. Connect it to the internet and restart the app.
New venue or soft opening: if you've just started and see this message, your account setup may not be finished yet. Message us straight away and we'll check it.
The banner shows an old email address: it may show concierge@liven.love. Don't use it. Email ar@nomni.ai for billing instead.
Device limit exceeded is different: it means more devices are connected than your plan allows. See Nomni KDS messages and what they mean.
Need help?
Email support@nomni.ai or message us from the chat in Nomni Console. Tell us your venue name, the device and what you have already tried.
I've paid but the banner is still there
Payments can take up to 1 business day to be matched to your account, longer for bank transfers.
Check the POS has internet, then close and reopen Nomni POS so it checks your account again.
Still there the next business day: email ar@nomni.ai with your venue name, the date and amount paid, and the remittance or receipt.
Card update failing
Check the card details, expiry and billing postcode, and that the card allows online payments.
Try another card, or ask your bank whether they blocked the charge.
If it still fails, email ar@nomni.ai. Don't send full card numbers by email or chat.
Extend or renew a licence
Email ar@nomni.ai or contact your account manager with your venue name and what you need. Billing changes can't be made in chat.
