What this is for
Set how online reservations work: the sessions guests can book, reservation types, deposits, instructions and notes, blackout dates and terms.
Before you start
You're signed in to the Nomni Console at app.abacus.co with a login that can see this page. If it's missing from your menu, ask your account owner to check your role.
Set up reservations
In the top bar click POS, then in the left menu go to Reservations > Reservation Configuration.
Under Sessions, click Add Session for each booking period (for example Lunch, Dinner).
Under Reservation Types, add types such as Standard or Function.
Under Deposit, set the Minimum Guests To Charge Deposit. Under Settings, set the Default Reservation Duration.
Fill in Reservation Instructions, Reservation Notes and Terms and Conditions.
Under Blackout Dates, click Add Blackout and pick the date and Blacked out sessions.
Click Save.
Tips
Block out public holidays early so guests can't book them.
Common problems
"Name is too long (max 20 characters)."
Shorten the session or type name.
"The blocking session cannot save past dates"
Pick a date from today on.
"The date has been existed."
That date is already blacked out.
