Quick answer: Open your Roll'd online ordering site for a store that uses Uber Direct. Place a test delivery order and choose a scheduled delivery time. Then follow the steps below.
This fix to Nomni Ordering went live on 19 October 2026. You don't need to update the POS or change any settings.
It affects the order confirmation email that customers get for delivery orders at Roll'd stores that use Uber Direct for delivery.
What was wrong
When a customer placed a scheduled delivery order and picked a delivery time, the confirmation email showed a time window instead of the time they picked. For example, a customer who picked 11:00 AM saw 26 Jun 2026, 11:00 AM - 1:20 PM.
This made customers think their order could arrive hours later than the time they chose.
What changed
Uber Direct stores show one time. Under ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME, the email now shows the date and the time the customer picked, for example 26 Jun 2026, 11:00 AM.
The time uses your store's time zone. The date and time are shown in the time zone set for your store.
Other delivery providers are unchanged. Roll'd stores that deliver with another provider, or have no delivery provider set, still show a time window.
Pickup emails are unchanged. Pickup order emails don't show an estimated delivery time.
How to check the email
Open your Roll'd online ordering site for a store that uses Uber Direct.
Place a test delivery order and choose a scheduled delivery time.
Pay for the order using an email address you can check.
Open the order confirmation email.
What you should see: under ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME, the email shows only the date and the time you picked, with no end time.
Cancel or refund the test order on Nomni POS when you are done.
If something goes wrong
The email still shows a time window
Check the order date. Emails sent before 19 October 2026 aren't changed or sent again.
Check which delivery provider the store uses. Only stores that use Uber Direct show a single time.
If the store uses Uber Direct and a new order still shows a window, contact us with the store name, the order number and the time the order was placed.
The time in the email looks wrong
The time is shown in your store's time zone. If it's off by whole hours, the store's time zone may be set wrong. Contact us with the store name and the order number so we can check it.
The customer didn't get a confirmation email
Ask the customer to check their spam or junk folder.
Check that the email address on the order is correct.
If the email address is correct and nothing arrived, contact us with the order number.
The delivery arrived at a different time
The email shows the time the customer picked. The actual arrival depends on the Uber Direct courier. For delivery issues, see Uber Direct Merchant & Customer Workflow + Support.
