Sync perks from head office to your sites

Written by Lucien Hopkinson

Quick answer: Signed in as head office, go to Loyalty Marketing > Perks > Perks List and click Sync to sites. Tick the sites, click Continue, then click Sync perks. Perks tied to products, variants or categories aren't copied.

Before you start

  • You're signed in to the head office (HQ) account.

  • Sync to sites only shows for head office accounts that don't use head-office management (EMS). With EMS on, sites already use head office's perks, so there's nothing to sync. Sites see "Perks are managed by HQ when EMS is enabled".

Steps

  1. In the Nomni Console (the Nomni POS back office), click Loyalty Marketing in the top bar, then go to Perks > Perks List.

  2. Click Sync to sites. The "Sync perks to sites" window opens.

  3. Tick each site to copy to, or tick Select all.

  4. Click Continue.

  5. Read the "Confirm perk sync" message and click Sync perks.

  6. Wait for the result. It shows how many perks were created, updated and skipped, and how many sites failed.

What gets copied

  • All head office perks that aren't tied to specific products, variants or categories, including inactive and expired ones (they keep their status).

  • Perks with a Product or Product Category rule, or a Product, Category or Product Variant discount target, are not copied.

  • Customer redemption history is never copied.

  • Syncing again overwrites changes made at the site to previously synced copies. Perks the site created itself are not touched.

Common messages

  • "Select at least one site." Tick a site before clicking Continue.

  • "No child sites are available." No sites are linked to this head office. Contact us if this looks wrong.

  • "failed sites: 1" with a failure reason: the other sites synced fine. Try again for the failed site, and contact us if it keeps failing.
