Nomni POS back office update, October 2026: the new Perk Builder

L
Written by Lucien Hopkinson

Quick answer: Perks in the Nomni Console have a new builder. You can start from one of 7 ready-made templates or build from scratch. The form is now split into two tabs, Information and Eligibility. It also adds new discount, usage-limit and targeting options, stamp-card perks with the Product Count rule, and a Sync to sites option for head office.

Where to find it

In the Nomni Console (the Nomni POS back office), click Loyalty Marketing in the top bar, then go to Perks > Perks List.

Click Add New Perk. Your existing perks are still in the list and open in the new form when you click edit.

What's new

  • Templates. Under "Start with a template or build from scratch" you can pick Birthday Reward, New Member Welcome, Win-Back (Inactive), Date Range Event, Milestone Reward, Buy X Get Y Free or Loyalty Tier Perk. Each one pre-fills the form and shows a "Review before saving" checklist. You can also pick Start from Scratch.

  • A clearer form. The fields are split across the Information tab (identity, validity and expiry, discount, creative) and the Eligibility tab (spend threshold, usage limits, targeting rules). New perks are set to "Active - perk is live" by default.

  • Discounts. Choose Fixed Amount or Percentage. Percentage perks can have an optional maximum discount cap. You can target the Entire Cart, a Product, a Category or a Product Variant, and choose a price flag of All, Lowest Price or Highest Price.

  • Usage limits. Set a perk to Single use only or Recurring. Weekly and Monthly resets count from the customer's last use, not from the calendar week or month. You can also set custom days between uses, a per-user expiry, a maximum number of redemptions per customer and a rolling reset interval.

  • Targeting rules. There are 19 rule types in 5 groups: Customer, Birthday, Membership, Order / Activity, and Location / Time. When you add more than one rule, the customer has to meet all of them.

  • Stamp cards. The new Product Count rule lets you run perks like "buy 5 coffees, get the next one free".

  • Show perks to customers who don't qualify yet. "Display perk when customer is ineligible" lets customers see a perk they can't redeem yet.

  • Sync to sites. Head office can copy perks that aren't tied to a site to its child sites. Perks tied to products, variants or categories aren't copied.

Do I need to do anything?

No. Your existing perks keep working. Next time you edit one, check the new Redemption platforms, Discount target and Usage limits settings are what you expect before you click Save Perk.
