Delete an Item from an Order on the KDS

Items can be deleted from an order from the KDS.

Note: If all items are deleted from an order:

  • The order will disappear from the KDS.

  • The table will still remain open on the POS.

  • The deleted items will be struck through on the POS.

To delete an item from the KDS:

  1. Tap the item you want to delete. In this example, the Karaage Chicken Burger will be deleted.

2. Tap DELETE.

3. Select a Delete Reason from the drop down list.

4. Tap DELETE.

The item will be struck through on:

  • The KDS

  • The POS

  • The invoice
