Applying a Single Item Discount

To apply a discount to an individual item in the cart, follow these steps:

1. Open the Discount Menu

  • Tap on the item's price in the cart.

  • This will open the Discount Options Menu.

2. Choose Your Discount Method

There are four ways to apply a discount:

  • $ Discount
Apply a specific dollar amount discount to the item.
→ Example: Entering $5 will subtract $5 from the item price.

  • % Discount
Apply a percentage discount to the item.
→ Example: Entering 10% will reduce the item price by 10%.

  • Change Unit Price
Adjust the unit price of the item.
Useful when multiple quantities of the same item are in the cart — changes the price per unit.
→ Example: Change the unit price from $10 to $8 for each of the 3 items.

  • Modify (Total Value)
Adjust the total value of the selected item (either by dollar amount or percentage).
→ Simply enter the value or percentage you'd like to adjust and tap the corresponding button.

3. Confirm the Discount

  • You may be prompted to enter a reason for the discount.

  • After that, the discount will be applied to the item.

Applying Discounts to the Entire Order

Easily apply a discount to the entire order using either manual entry or a preset coupon.

1. Open the Discount Menu

  • On the cart screen, tap the Discount button located at the bottom-right corner.

2. Choose How to Apply the Discount

You have two ways to apply a discount:

A. Manually Enter a Discount

  • Enter the discount value:

    • Use a dollar amount (e.g., $10) to reduce the total by a fixed amount.

    • Or enter a percentage (e.g., 15%) to reduce the order by a percentage.

  • Then tap either:

    • $ Discount – for a dollar-based reduction, or

    • % Discount – for a percentage-based reduction.

B. Apply a Preset Coupon

  • Select a General coupon from the available options.

  • These are configured in the backend and are ideal for:

    • Promotions

    • Seasonal offers

    • Quick-access discounts

  • This method enables faster, more consistent discounting.
