What this is for

Nomni Pay (shown as Nomnie Pay in the Nomni Console) is the payment service that takes card payments for your online ordering store and pays the money into your bank account. This guide covers the one-off setup, how to find a payment, and how to match payouts to your bank statement.

Before you start

  • Your login can see POS > Online Ordering. If it can't, ask your account owner to check your role.

  • Have your business details ready: legal entity type, company legal name, ABN or tax number, registered address, and the details of each director or beneficial owner.

  • Have the bank account you want payouts paid into.

  • You're signed in to the Nomni Console at app.abacus.co with a login that can see this page. If it's missing from your menu, ask your account owner to check your role.

Set up Nomni Pay

  1. In the top bar click POS, then in the left menu go to Payment > Nomnie Pay Setup.

  2. Under Account Detail, choose your Legal Entity (for example a company, sole proprietorship or trust) and your Industry codes. The rest of the form changes to match the legal entity you pick.

  3. Fill in Company Legal Name, Doing Business As, and the Address section (Address, Suburb, Postcode, State, Country, Phone).

  4. Complete the section for your entity type: Individual Information (First Name, Last Name), Sole Proprietorship Information, or Trust Information (Trust Name, Trust Type, Country Of Governing Law). Then fill in Tax (Type and Number).

  5. Click Save, then click Setup. You'll see "Redirecting to Adyen ..." and be taken to our payment partner's secure page to verify your identity and add your bank account.

  6. If you leave before finishing, come back to this page and click Continue Onboarding.... When everything is verified, Go To Payment Panel... appears.

  7. Check the table at the bottom of the page. Anything under Error Message Need To Resolve must be fixed before you can take payments; the Resolution column says what to do. Warnings don't stop payments but should be cleared.

Find a payment (Nomnie Pay Transactions)

  1. Go to POS > Online Ordering > Nomnie Pay Transactions.

  2. Set From and To, or use the Previous Day, Today, Previous Week and Previous Month buttons. Narrow it down with Status, Min Amount, Max Amount, Invoice, .Last 4 Digits or Card Type, then click Search

  3. Each row shows Created At, Reference, Charge Amount, GST on Fee, Status, Last 4 Digits, Card Type and Invoice Number. Click Original Ref on a refund to see the payment it came from.

  4. Click Export to download the list as a spreadsheet.

Match payouts to your bank (Nomnie Pay Payouts)

  1. Go to POS > Online Ordering > Nomnie Pay Payouts.

  2. Choose From and To and click Search. The Payout Lists table shows each payout's Created At, Reference, Amount, Currency and Status.

  3. Use the Reference to match the payout to the deposit on your bank statement. Click Export on a row to download the transactions inside that payout.

Tips

  • The date fields must be in order. "To cannot be before From!" or "Please enter date range!" means a date is missing or the wrong way round.

  • A payout is the total of many payments minus fees and refunds, so it won't match a single order. Export the payout to see what's in it.

  • Nomni fees for online orders are listed on Nomni Fee Statements.

Common problems

  • "Please select Industry code" / "Please select Country"

A required drop-down is empty. Pick a value and click Save again.

  • "Please fix the error in address section!"

Check Suburb, Postcode and State match each other, then save again.

  • A payment is missing from Transactions

Widen the date range and clear the Status filter. Payments made just now can take a few minutes to show.
