About

You might think of Ads as a slideshow, idle screen, or a screensaver.

When the screen is inactive, users will be prompted to confirm that they are still browsing. If they do not confirm within 5 seconds (by tapping “I’m still browsing!”), your Ads will start playing instead. If you do not have Ads, the user will only be redirected to your Start screen (which says “Tap to start”).

Your Ads contain images and video.

How to upload Ads

  1. On the backend, go to POS Settings > Table Ordering Settings

  2. Under Ads, click SELECT FILES...

  3. Select all the files that you want for your Ads

  4. When the files have uploaded, click Save

  5. On the Master POS, do a Master Sync then select Notify Clients when prompted

How to configure the timing of Ads

“Start After”

The Start After time is the amount of time you want to wait before prompting users to confirm that they are still browsing. By default, this is 1 minute.

To change the Start After time:

  1. On the backend, go to POS Settings > Table Ordering Settings

  2. Under Image Information Display, in the Start After (sec) field, enter the number of seconds you want to wait until the user is prompted to confirm that they are still browsing. (e.g. if you want to wait 2 minutes, enter “120”.)

  3. Click Save

  4. On the Master POS, do a Master Sync then select Notify Clients when prompted

“Transition Interval”

Each image will be shown for the duration of the Transition Interval. By default, this is 10 seconds. Any video that is uploaded will be played through to completion regardless of the Slide Transition Interval (sec).

To change the Transition Interval:

  1. On the backend, go to POS Settings > Table Ordering Settings

  2. Under Image Information Display, in the Slide Transition Interval (sec) field, enter the number of seconds you want each image to display for before the next image (or video) is shown.

  3. Click Save

  4. On the Master POS, do a Master Sync then select Notify Clients when prompted
